Paul Savill (b.1969 Westgate, County Durham)
Paul has been a prolific songwriter since 1988. A committed
Christian, he plays piano, guitar & bass and is the Musical
Director and part of the leadership team at Market Drayton
Methodist Church. He sings in, and arranges songs for, the
North Shropshire Methodist Youth Choir, and is a member of
the Christian band “After Ours”. Paul has also
been involved in worship bands at Easter People with Robin,
Alison & Mark. He teaches Design Technology and is Head
of Year at the Blessed William Howard Catholic School (Performing
Arts Status) in Stafford and has been married to Ness since
1996. They have a daughter, Evie, born in 2002.
Robin Perry (b.1970 Birmingham)
A music teacher at Wrockwardine Wood Arts College in Telford,
Robin is a committed Christian and was the driving force in
encouraging Paul to finish writing 3rd Day. He plays bass
guitar for both After Ours and the worship band at Market
Drayton Methodist Church and sings in the North Shropshire
Methodist Youth Choir. With qualifications in sound production,
Robin has recorded and engineered two albums for the Youth
Choir and has also arranged numerous backing tracks for them.
Robin has been married to Helen since 2001.
Alison Savill (b.1975 Halifax)
Alison is an accomplished pianist who took over as the leader
and conductor of the North Shropshire Methodist Youth Choir
from her dad, Rev. David Cooper, in September 2000. She has
sung in choirs all her life and since becoming conductor of
the Youth Choir has arranged many songs in their repertoire.
Alison is a committed Christian, plays piano in the worship
band at Market Drayton Methodist Church and is also heavily
involved in the youth work at the church. A midwife at Staffordshire
General Hospital, Alison married Mark (Paul’s older
brother and 3rd Day Project Manager) in 1999.
